Hager is a German-founded switchgear maker whose modular devices are common in UAE distribution boards. How do I read a Hager RCCB code?
The catalogue numbers are systematic once the pattern is clear. Across the C-series RCCBs the second letter tracks sensitivity: CD is 30mA, CE is 100mA and CF is 300mA. So CDC441J is a 40A four-pole 30mA device and CFC264J is a 63A two-pole 300mA one. When replacing like for like, match the full code on the existing unit, not the amperage alone: a 100mA device occupies the same space as a 30mA one and behaves very differently.
Onekonekt or the older C-series?
Onekonekt is Hager's newer modular platform, represented here by RCCBs including CCC217J at 10mA, CDC226J, CEC226J and CEC426J, plus the SBN464N 63A four-pole main switch. The longer-running C-series, listed as made in France, covers the heavier end with 100A two- and four-pole RCCBs. Mixing platforms in one board comes down to busbar and terminal compatibility, so check what the existing board is built around.
