Do I need an electrician to fit one?
No. These are corded fans that plug into a standard socket, so the electrical side is just reaching a socket without a lead trailing across a walkway. The part worth doing properly is the bracket. Fix it into solid structure with anchors suited to the wall — block, concrete and partition take different fixings, and a fan running at height on a loose bracket is the real risk here.
