Floor boxes are recessed enclosures set into a floor slab or raised access floor so that power and data outlets can be provided in the middle of a room — kitchen islands, meeting tables and open-plan offices. The box sits below floor level with a lid that closes flush when nothing is plugged in, and carpet or tile trims let it blend with the finish. Accessories include mounting frames, blanking plates, module carriers and lids, matched to the box depth and the modules fitted.
