Fitting out a villa or a facility?
In villas, the 600x600 backlit panel drops straight into a standard false-ceiling grid, with COB downlights and adjustable spots for corridors and features. In warehouses, car parks and plant rooms the answer is IP65 — damp-proof battens over walkways, bulkheads in stairwells, floodlights and street lights outside. Check the colour code on every line before ordering: 3000K, 4000K and 6500K are all stocked, and a mixed delivery shows on the ceiling.
What about retrofitting existing fittings?
Ledvance LED T5 tubes replace 1449mm fluorescent tubes, and a motion-sensor 1200mm T8 suits corridors and stores, but both need the existing ballast dealt with by a licensed electrician — not a straight tube swap. LED Flex strip comes in 24V and 220V, the latter on 50 metre rolls for cove and perimeter runs.
